We’re thrilled to announce the addition of two new advisory board members: Scott Harrison, CEO & founder at charity:water and Suzanne DiBianca, president and co-founder of the Salesforce Foundation.

Scott Harrison is not only known for his philanthropic accomplishments (launching his first nonprofit in 2007, and raising well over $180 million) but also for his entrepreneurial drive and inspiration. Scott and charity:water have been trailblazers for the Social Sector, raising the bar around transparency, design and supporter engagement. They were also one of the earliest adopters and advocates of peer-to-peer fundraising, practically rewriting the industry’s best practices around grassroots fundraising.

All of the above make Scott an invaluable addition to Classy’s advisory board. In his own words:

From day one charity:water has been an organization built upon empowering people around the world to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. When we built our own crowdfunding platform almost ten years go, technology companies like Classy didn’t yet exist; but today, using Classy’s technology, any social impact organization can easily activate and empower their community at a fraction of the cost and time.

Scott Harrison

CEO, charity: water

I’m excited to work with Classy’s advisory board to share some of our learnings to the benefit of the other great impact organizations using the Classy platform already, and also eager to learn from them.

Suzanne DiBianca oversees all aspects of the Salesforce Foundation and its global programs. As president and co-founder at the Salesforce Foundation, Suzanne has pioneered the company’s innovative 1-1-1 model, where 1% of the company’s equity, product and employee time is returned to the community. A leader in the social, corporate and technology sectors, , Suzanne serves on a number of Boards and advisory councils in the community, including: the World Affairs Council’s Global Philanthropy Forum, the Business Advisory Council to SFUSD, Box.org and Zynga.org.

Suzanne brings a unique perspective and a blend of extensive for-profit and nonprofit expertise, which further underscores her enormous contribution to Classy’s advisory board. In her own words:
